“he was a senior lady’s little everything, her world.”
he was a senior lady’s little everything, her world. in her wheelchair, she took took cory with her everywhere she went, referring to him endearingly as her little ‘poopala.’
tragically, her home burned down in a fire and cory’s mama passed on. cory managed to survive with minor smoke inhalation and some singed fur, but otherwise he is physically okay.
cory is a sweet little guy that truly misses the love and affection of his mama. he is a teeny bit slow to warm up but with the right incentive *cough* (cookies + snuggles) *cough*, cory will be your BFF.
cory is an 8 year old, male, maltese mix. he has been at the LANGLEY ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY for 20 days now and is ready to be loved at his new home.
because of his previous peaceful lifestyle and his reserved disposition, cory is looking for a quieter home, one with older children or no children. he could be siblings with another dog, preferably a nice little female. and cory would require a cat-free environment.
if you could find a place in your heart for this little ham that’s been been through way too much, please call LAPS to speak to his awesome trainer, gwen at: 604-857-5055. if adopting cory is something you simply can’t do right now, we’d love if you shared this blog post with your friends + family.
and make sure to check out our gift certificates that for a limited time, the entire proceeds of their sale are being donated to this incredible shelter that has taken cory in.
