“it was sadly obvious that he had been dumped.”
we had quite a list of adoptable dogs to photograph the last time we were at the LANGLEY ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY, so after photographing each cutie, we were quickly off to document the next. but after his glamour shoot, ernie had other plans. off leash in the play yard, ernie found out it was time to go and he took that as “you mean.. time to PLAY?!”
he ran around and around, letting us get near and then joyously frolicking away, encouraging us to chase + play. after some laughter and once he got his beans out, ernie was finally ready to be scooped up and cuddled. so much cute!
ernie was found in a crate on 264th. he had no ID and it was sadly obvious that he had been dumped. luckily, he was brought in to LAPS and is super excited for his new mama // papa to find him and love on him for the rest of his days.
ernie is an 18 month old, chihuahua X boston terrier. he has been at the shelter for 54 days now with very little interest which is BEYOND me. he is a quirky little punk that will light up anyone’s home + life. who can resist this face?!
ernie loves to run + play. he enjoys showing off his spunky side and hanging out with other dogs. ernie is still very young and will require some work in the training department. because of his energy and his tendency to be a little mouthy, he is suitable for an adult only or ‘older’ kid home.
if ernie lights a fire in your heart, please please call LAPS to speak to his awesome trainer at: 604-857-5055. if adopting ernie is something you just can’t do, he’d be forever grateful if you shared this blog with your friends + family. let’s get ernie a home for christmas!
