we had a really bad storm one night a couple weeks ago. i remember it specifically because the pounding of the rain woke me up at 4 something in the morning and i’m a girl who likes her sleep. the next day, a langley city worker was cutting the grass along the side of a road by the freeway when he saw something ahead of his mower and stopped. it was a cage, like a raccoon trap, and in it was a beautiful, scared cat. it became clear that this cat, harrison, was purposefully abandoned there with no houses nearby and just a little bowl left for him. how long he was there is anyone’s guess.
sigh. i just don’t get it..
harrison is now residing at the langley animal protection society and lemme tell ya, he doesn’t hold an ounce of resentment and is just such a love. he enjoys cuddles, ear scratches and hearing all about your day. harrison is very friendly and would make a great bed time teddy bear replacement.
harrison is a male, approximately 6 year old, neutered cat. if you want to hug this guy forever, go on and call LAPS at: 604-857-5055. if adopting harrison is something you can’t do at the moment, he’d certainly appreciate if you helped spread the word.
